On the morning of May 15, Liu Donghong, deputy director of Caofeidian Port Park, accompanied the deputy director of Caofeidian Port Park, and invited Xintian LNG Company to participate in a discussion on the progress of Caofeidian LNG project construction. At the meeting, PetroChina and Xintian introduced the progress of LNG project and the next work arrangement respectively. They dispatched the progress of LNG project and the major hazard sources that need government coordination, the evaluation of safety production status, the public announcement of the change of construction subject by social stability analysis and evaluation opinions, and so on. They demanded that the early stage of LNG project should be speeded up. Work, strive to start as soon as possible.

The LNG project invested 5.48 billion yuan in advance by PetroChina has been officially transported to the outside world on Dec. 10, 2013, and its operation is in good condition. The emergency peak shaving support project of the receiving station, which invested 2.548 billion yuan, started construction in August 2017. At present, four external main bodies of storage tanks have been completed. It is planned to be completed and put into operation by the end of October 2020. PetroChina LNG Second Wharf Project is negotiating with Xintian LNG Company for details of cooperation, advancing the pre-formalities, and can be approved in the near future. Xintian LNG Company has invested 39 billion yuan in the construction of receiving stations and pipeline projects. Construction units have entered the field and are ready to start pile foundation construction.

The implementation of LNG project is a concrete measure for Caofeidian to implement national construction. It is of great significance to enhance the status of Caofeidian and Hebei Province in the construction of national and even world energy system and to promote the LNG bulk trade and logistics center. Next step, the port park will fully implement the main responsibility, go deep into the front line, timely solve the existing problems of enterprises, promote the implementation of effective work, effectively improve the development of service enterprises, and create a business environment.
