On April 26, Tangshan Caofeidian Port Logistics Trade and Processing Industry Investment Promotion Meeting was held, and 37 projects were successfully signed on the spot. The promotion meeting attracted nearly 400 businessmen, including domestic and foreign modern logistics, port trade, cross-border e-commerce, import and export trade, with a total investment of more than 45 billion yuan. The projects include Shenzhen Baoneng Investment Group's cross-trade supply chain service industry park and commodity supply chain service industry park, Hegang Group's steel logistics and Trade Center project, Mongolia Asia Logistics Co., Ltd's logistics and trade project, etc. At the scene, business licenses were issued for 12 newly registered port trading enterprises in Caofeidian.

According to reports, through this promotion meeting, Caofeidian District is expected to increase trade by 70 billion yuan in 2018, bringing the total trade volume of the whole region to 100 billion yuan. In the next five years, it is expected to increase trade volume by 270 billion yuan. The purpose of this promotion meeting is to speed up the construction of "one port and two cities", to show Caofeidian's advantages in developing warehousing logistics, port trade and import and export processing industries, to promote the prospects and opportunities for the development of related industries in Caofeidian, and to attract more large-scale domestic and foreign port logistics trade and processing industry projects to settle in Caofeidian, to strengthen the port, and to do so. Major industries will accelerate the transformation of Caofeidian into a major trading port and promote leapfrog development with high quality.
